The founders are passionate about education and want to offer a hybrid/University-Model school in our area, the first within a 45-mile radius.
Providence Christian Academy is housed by Freedom Church of the Nazarene, located at 1701 Lynn Street, Lebanon, MO. It is conveniently located off of Highway 5, within walking distance of Atchley Park!
While PCA is rooted and grounded in Jesus, there is no specific church affiliation. We consider Providence Christian Academy a missional school.
No, we welcome all families! However, we do hold an all-school chapel every morning.
Our administrators are Amanda Goodwin, Rachel Massey, and Derek Yarber (see the 'Our Team' tab for more information).
Classes are held in person on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Our campus doors open for drop-off between 7:45 AM and 8:00 AM. We understand that family schedules can be tricky, so if you need to drop off a bit earlier, we can arrange that on a case-by-case basis starting as early as 7:30 AM. Just reach out to us so we can chat about your family's specific needs!
New concepts are taught on school days by qualified teachers. "School-at-home" days are spent reinforcing those concepts through guided assignments.
At Providence Christian Academy, we truly value the family as a team, where parents serve as the heart of the "Satellite Days" at home and our faculty leads the way on campus. We love having a vibrant school community, but we want to make sure you know that parents aren’t required to be on-site during our seated days (Monday and Wednesday). We designed these days to give students a dedicated space to bond with their peers and engage directly with their teachers through labs and discussions (and give parents some much needed "time off"😉). This rhythm allows you to focus on your role as the primary educator at home, while giving your child a chance to build independence and grow within their classroom family here at PCA!

Yes! A 10% "Founding Families" discount is available for the 2026-2027 school year only for those who enroll, register, and pay the first month's tuition by August 1, 2026. Families who meet this deadline will receive the discount each year, unless they decide to discontinue attending PCA and then resume a subsequent year. In that case, re-enrollment will occur at the standard tuition rates in effect at that time.

For the 2026-2027 school year, those who qualify for MO Scholars should select the Family Paced Education (FPE) option. These funds can be used for books, supplies, and tutors. In subsequent years, eligible students may select the Private School option to receive funds.

At Providence Christian Academy, we believe every child is a unique gift with their own individual learning journey. We are committed to meeting students where they are, which is why we handle all accommodations on a case-by-case basis. By sitting down with each family, we can thoughtfully explore how our hybrid model can best support your child's specific needs and help them flourish in a way that feels personal and encouraging.
While we do not have a dedicated counselor position, our teachers are available to help ensure graduating seniors meet all college application requirements.
We are currently seeking prayers and donations of school equipment, including lunch tables, desks, chairs, dry-erase boards, and smart boards.
At Providence Christian Academy, we believe that exceptional teaching is a calling that goes far beyond traditional credentials. While we seek highly qualified educators to lead our classrooms, our priority is finding those who possess a genuine heart for ministry and a deep, God-given talent for teaching. We recognize that while a certificate can be hung on a wall, it is a teacher’s personal dedication, character, and passion for their students that truly makes a difference. Our faculty members are chosen because they are not just instructors, but mentors who are truly called to partner with your family in cultivating both academic excellence and spiritual growth.
Providence Christian Academy provides a nurturing environment for families in Lebanon, MO and surrounding Laclede County."
